Xin Chao in Munich

Very tasty and authentic! So far we have only been able to take the food with us, but the staff are still friendly. The restaurant is located directly on Rosenheimer Platz.

Ordered to be picked up there today. Could bring our own containers, no plastic packaging. The farmer's bowl and the tofu curry were delicious as always. Price-performance top. Gladly again!

Good sauces and atmosphere, but a bit expensive for the quality.

The food is really great, as is the location, but it has happened too often that the service was unfriendly and inattentive ... unfortunately you don't always feel welcome ... a shame, otherwise it would be perfect.

What a pity. The food is delicious, but the atmosphere always counts in a restaurant. The waiter was the only one who could be nice. The two waitresses (short hair and medium length) were very unfriendly. That was the last two times when I visited the restaurant, but the waiters were rude :(

It is not so important that I waited 15 minutes after entering if I was allowed to order something, but I am not a dog to eat the skin and surfaces of duck. Don't come any more.

The food is great, but it has now happened to me twice that I either had almost no space at all (it was already 8 p.m., some tables were free) or a cat table (I had reserved and there were two of us). We found the type of communication so rude that we went to another Asian in the neighborhood where we were served very friendly. It's not all good if the kitchen is right, you also want to feel welcome.

Prices like in the star restaurant, service like in the shish kebab shop. After we were extremely gracious and without greeting that we were given a free table, we were given the menu cards that were clasped together in our shirtsleeves. Unfortunately the staff was no longer able to visit our table in the following 15 minutes. With a 50% occupancy rate and main courses beyond € 20, this also seems perfectly understandable. The customer seems to be a disruptive factor here and the discrepancy between price and service performance could not be greater. Fortunately, I cannot report on the quality of the dishes, as we left the table without a word.

Superb decor, great fine dine option. Food was tasty and menu had good selection. Veg dishes limited but that's expected. Staff could smile a bit more but perhaps is corona. Will return!

Papaya salad was tasty and not too spicy. The BanMi was rather disappointing because old dry French baguette was used and not the fresh juicy bread that other restaurants use.

Good food but quite expensive.

This is the best Vietnamese food I have had in Munich. The ingredients are incredibly fresh and high quality and everything is home made. I had the summer rolls to start, which came with a homemade sauce of fresh fruits and herbs (the sauce for these rolls comes out of a jar in most places). I also had the house signature chicken dish which was delicately prepared and delicious, full of fresh vegetables and unique seasonings. I also recommend the fresh Vietnamese drinks like the kumquat soda. These fresh and fruity drinks complement the food perfectly.

Totally the top! Super fresh ingredients and aw so tasty. These guys definitely know what are they doing, I mean it men! And you know one thing? Whenever I come here, which happens often, I really feel like I'm doing my body the favor of eating something healthy. It's more than worth a try, trust me. EDIT: lately the quality seemed to go a bit on the downside, uh?

Delicious lunch menu. Crunchy duck with curry sauce was very good. Spring rolls also delicious but unfortunately too oily. Overall highly recommended!

Food is top class every time. By far best in Munich. Fresh and good sized portions. Although pricey, you get what you pay for and the ambience is top! Service could be better but otherwise no complaints.

Everything fits here. Optics, value for money and service. Very tasty lunch menus. Fast service. Drops of wormwood: often fully booked at lunchtime.

First time I’ve had Vietnamese food. Luckily I had google translate and it was just barely working, but was able to get by. The food was really good. Reminds me of Thai in terms of freshness and savory flavor. As I’m trying this my second dish came out. Reminds me of beef and broccoli,but WOW is it good. I’m coming back before I leave Germany. Would recommend to anyone.

Very good food and very nice location. Compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area, this one is of a much higher quality. Average prices. You should absolutely taste the dessert with the fried banana.

The best Vietnamese food I've ever had in Munich. Absolutely loved it, ambiance is really nice and the staff was really amazing! Would definitely recommend the food here.

Nice clean good varieties

I’ve been in Munich for 10 days and tried almost all types of food and been to many different restaurants but this one is definitely the best one so far. I just ran to it and was surprised by the decorations and the ambience. The food was the best ever and the staff were very helpful and so nice. I be ordered many plates and the price was surprisingly cheap compared to other normal restaurants. I went back to this place another 2 times and I can’t get enough of it.

A very nice small Vietnamese restaurant. I haven't been to Vietnam yet, but I think this is the most authentic Vietnamese restart I've been to. Great food and friendly staff.

The Klebreis (sticky rice) is too hard to bite. It is not even cooked... Really doubt how the chef prepare it. In the meanwhile, it takes a long time to wait for the services.

So delicious! Definitely worth to try if you find yourself nearby. Great selection of dumplings ??? And last but not least - the interior is just stunning with lot of plants and fresh flowers ???
